Drawings and images of the initial studies for a hospital unit to be located in Angolan territory, in the province of Zaire south of Cabinda. It is a unit with a wide range of medical and diagnostic specialties, as well as a permanent and urgent care service.
The extensive functional program was designed in close collaboration with medical teams. The main functional sectors of the building integrate the basement of the building at ground level. Here we will find the operative blocks, the intensive care unit, the urgency, consultations and diagnosis.
On this massif are based two organic forms that house the internment, refectory and kitchen, laboratory and administrative services.
The building is crowned by a heliport, in support of emergencies related to offshore oil exploration.
